Yesterday we got to meet with Rev. Kirk Nave from River Road UMC.  He is a very intelligent guy, and we were privileged to meet with him.  That church has been around for 150 years, and has some serious history to it.  It actually is the church that Jefferson Davis went to at times, because his wife was a Methodist.  But as Kirk says, they are more interested in what Jesus is doing now, than 150 years ago.
