I grew up in Long Beach, CA and graduated from Millikan High School in 2001. I then went to Hope International University in Fullerton where I graduated with a Bachelor of arts in Radio/TV/Film.
I was a youth pastor at Parkcrest Lakewood Christian Church. I was there from September of 2004 till right before I left for this trip, so March of 2009.
I got my first bike on August 27th 2007, it was a 1982 Honda cm 450 e, and I now have a Honda Shadow Spirit 1100 which I am using for the trip. I sold my truck in July of 08, and have been using my bike as my only means of transportation since to help prepare for the trip.
