Good friend of mine growing up got himself down to a mattress, bicycle, lawn chair, candle and a few books (plus some clothes). He was about a hairs-breadth from joining the Mennonites in Pennsylvania, but then met a girl... etc...

I remember his motto was "Live simple, live free". Well, that plus "no brains, no headaches". Anyway, he's now a 9-to-5 guy with a mortgage and two kids, so the first one is no longer applicable.

Congrats on the big step; Daily Motorcycling is a commitment and one I made a few years ago as well.

Get some good rain gear and find that just right (Full Coverage or Flip Front) Helmet.

Have fun and Ride it like you stole it.
