Hi Ryan: Glad you are back home safe & into the college "routine" now. It was great you & youor Dad began & ended your "adventure" together! We enjoyed joining you guys on ALL your adventures/podcasts on our computer. Hopefully, when Nathanael gets back we can see you both at Parkcrest at a "reunion" gathering celebration! Are you still planning on the Fire Dep't or EMT for a career? Last night I went to a Memorial Service for (Richard CARR ~ fireman, paramedic etc.)) the son of an ARCO franchise dealer who was our mechanic many years ago. Richard's dad died of cancer several years ago. In the LB Press there was an obit showing William "Richard" CARR had lost his battle to brain cancer. I spoke with his Mom at White's Mortuary in Bellflower. Richard was only 49 yrs old & had two daughters. Sad. His Dad Bill CARR & Richard were honest mechanics & serviced our cars for many years on the corner of Rosecrans & Bellflower Blvd. ARCO was trying to force Bill to sell liquor at his location & give up his service bay..Bill refused & got out of the gas station/mechanic business & retired. We so much appreciate fire personnel, EMT's etc. for their dedicated service to their communities. This last bout of fires proves they are truly public servants, sacrificing & putting in LONG hours and hard work saving lives and homes! They are truly heros. Good luck & God Bless You in whatever you decide to do for your lifes work. Hope to see you soon at Parkcrest.

Ryan, It was great to hear from Jon that you made it back safely. Good luck with your classes and come by and see us. We are anxious for Nathanael to return. Know you both will be talking about this trip for years.

Ryan, Glad you made it home safely. It was so nice meeting you. Wonder what you are taking in college. It's hard to believe you rode almost 20,000 miles on a motorcycle in 5 months! Good luck to you in whatever the future brings.
