So we woke up and hit the road pretty early, we were on our way out of Vegas around 9:30 this morning.  It was nice to hit the road before it got too hot.  We stopped at the AZ – NV border for some lunch and $.50 roulette.  We both lost.  From there we just headed north on the 15.  We looked up campgrounds up the road and found a KOA here in Beaver.  We were only 35 miles from the campsite, so we thought it would be a short and easy ride.  Well as soon as we hit the road we noticed there was definitiley some rain in front of us.  I wasn’t wearing my rain pants, and my jacket was all unzipped so I could stay cool.  The rain was short but pretty strong.  I got real wet real quick, and as soon as the rain came, the wind did too.  Fortunately it only lasted about 10 miles or so, and I was dry before we got to the campground.  We made our dinner and are just hanging out here now.  There is internet here so I think we will watch some Hulu, and hopefully be able to fall asleep early.
