So I guess it must be in the Rowe blood to have a hunger for travelling, and being on the road, because tonight my brother, Jon Rowe, kicks off his 3rd tour as a musician, with his band The Messenger. Things have been looking good for their band, they just came out with a new cover to the Chris Brown Song, Kiss Kiss, which you can listen to on their myspace page.  They have been getting around 10,000 plays a day on their myspace page, which is pretty good.  Bands as big as U2  get around 60,000 plays a day, and my favorite, Thrice, gets around 40,000 plays a day, so you could see how 10,000 is pretty good.  On this tour they are playing shows on their way to Florida, then up the east cost to New Jersey, and all they way back home.  I am really proud of him, and stoked for their success this far.  I can’t wait to hear about their adventures when they get back in the beginning of March, right before we leave on our trip.

Wow that is scary to say. I can’t believe this is getting so close. I know Ryan and I are both a little shocked that this is about to become a reality, but I am excited for it. I thought I would post some updates about trip planning. We have 37 churches confirmed in 28 states and counting. Our first loop from March till May will be all the southern states. We have all but 5 states confirmed for that first tour; New Mexico, Alabama, South Carolina, Missouri, Nevada. So if you have some contacts in one of those states, let us know. Also, we will be having a going away party on Sunday March 22nd at Parkcrest Church - Lakewood Campus, so plan on coming to that. We will have fliers and more info for that soon. Other than that, just keep praying for us, especially for our nerves. I think it is just now starting to settle in how much we are giving up here in Long Beach to go on this trip.
